Princeton, New Jersey – So here we go with the A final. Julie and I took first place in a three-to-advance semifinal this morning so we’ll be in the middle lane tomorrow. The final will no doubt be exciting since only the winner earns the opportunity to go to the World Cups.
The race will be at 7:50 am eastern and if you’re interested, there will be a live video feed. From what I’ve heard, it’s not great quality but good enough to know what’s happening. If they are announcing the crews based on lanes, listen for lane 3. That’ll be us.
Results will be posted here. Scroll to the bottom and click on WL2x Final A.
For those of you new to rowing, these races are 2,000 meters long, and sometimes they pick up the race at the halfway mark for the video feed. This course has a white gazebo at the 1500 meter mark, so there will only be 500 meters (about 2 minutes) to go after that.
Thanks for the support thus far; we are really looking forward to the final and will be ready to go!
p.s. Blogger was down for a while, so the previous post (NSR 2: Day 1) will be back up once they get everything fixed.
