Princeton, New Jersey - Alright, here we are! Back in Jersey. I have to say, it's good to be back. The spring flowers are out, the weather is getting warmer by the day, and we've taken the requisite stop at the gigantic Wegman's. Or, five stops at Wegman's. All is right in the world.
Kate and I are racing in the lightweight women's double (LW2x) next week. We kick off the racing with a time trial on Wednesday that seeds us into lanes for the final. Here's the sched:
Wednesday April 22 at 7:30 am - time trial
Saturday April 25 at 8:10 am - final
The winner of this event earns the right to race overseas at the World Cups this summer and the opportunity to try to qualify the boat for the World Championships.
We have lots of CRC teammates out east with us too, with NSR entries in the women's single (W1x), men's pair (M2-), lightweight men's pair (LM2-), and men's double (M2x).
All the info - including schedules, results, and how to follow live - can be found on USRowing's website and the event press release. Here's to some fun times and lovely crosswind!
